Wow! I can't believe we're a week into August, but yet it still seems forever until school will start! Gunner will be in 1st grade and starts August 24. Brandon will be attending "preschool" (I thought 2 yr olds went to nursery school) on Mondays and Tuesdays, starting August 31. I don't like to wish my life away, but I am so ready to have a little "me" time to run errands without children or clean out a cabinet or read a book for just a couple hours! Or even be able to volunteer at Gunner's school and not have to get a sitter for Brandon! Also, with Brandon in school on Tuesdays, Jeff will take him while I'm at chemo. I'll still be able to pick him up, and I won't have to organize so many sitters this school year! =)
I know, I know, I keep saying I'll put photos on here, but I just hate waiting for them to download.......maybe this week. We'll see.
All is going well. The boys are driving me nuts. Went to the library for "Saturday Soup" (story time) this morning, then Target, McDonald's and Winn-Dixie. I'm pooped. Brandon's about ready to get up from his nap, and Gunner's been watching TV for about 1 1/2 hours. Jeff will be home from school soon. They got out at 4 pm today! We are on the countdown for the end of the Executive MBA classes! Now that today is completed, he has 7 more weeks. (There I go wishing time away again)
August is my least favorite time in Florida. IT IS SOOOOO HOT AND HUMID! Hard to do anything outside for very long. Guess that's why the boys drive me nuts; we stay in quite a bit. Also, we have rain almost every afternoon. At least we're out of the drought for now, and we're saving the environment because we haven't run the sprinklers much at all this summer. (Saves on the water bill too)
OK, so I've rambled about things that don't matter to anyone else, but at least I made a post. Hope everyone's having a good summer and may we all (with school age children) survive til school starts! =)

You're hilarious. Your August is probably like our February or something. I only post about stuff that I can't imagine anyone caring about, but that't why blogging is so great - no one has to look at it if they don't want to! Besides, I use it instead of scrapbooking for my own record keeping.
Thanks too for sharing that wonderful scripture on your other blog! Love you so much.
